A panel that defendants sometimes must attend as part of DUI probation requirements.
“The other thing they're gonna have you do if you take a plea is you're gonna have to do what's called a Victim Impact Panel. It's Mothers Against Drunk Driving, it's a two-hour class or seminar that they have, everyone who has a DUI go to. You'll have to get that done at some point in time.”
“as part of that, there's certain requirements, uh, such as an alcohol evaluation. You have to do an alcohol evaluation and comply with all those requirements. The requirements are things like taking an alcohol education courses. That's going to be two hours a week for multiple weeks. And then after that there's alcohol therapy. Um sometimes you have to do a victim impact panel as part of it. There's community service.”
